1. What is Actograph.Dep?
A platform that enables better monitoring of depression and bipolar patients. Actograph.Dep gathers real-time, relevant information and alerts your chosen “Trust Buddy” when significant deviation from regular usage patterns occurs. For more information, go to “How Does It Work”.
2. What is the “Trust Buddy” concept?
A “Trust buddy” is a family member or a friend, chosen by the patient, who accepts their request. The “Trust Buddy” will be the one who receives a notification if a significant change from normal patterns occurs. For more information, go to “How Does It Work”.
3. How does Actograph.Dep work?
Significant deviations from normal smartphone usage patterns may indicate changes in mood. The Actograph.Dep app gathers the information already stored on your smartphone, analyzes it, and alerts your chosen Trust Buddy when such a deviation occurs.

Only you decide with whom to share your personal history graph. Even when automatically alerting your Trust Buddy, Actograph.Dep maintains your privacy and sends only general notifications.
6. How long does the system take to start working?
The Actograph.Dep app requires two weeks of data collection in order to monitor usage patterns and alert to significant deviations.
7. Does the app cost money?
The app is completely free. It is forward (endorsed) by the European Expert Platform on Mental Health for the well being of depression and bipolar patients and their families.
8. I have an iPhone. Why can’t I find Actograph.Dep?
At this time, Actograph.Dep is available only on Android. When Apple enables access to the relevant information for the app, we will develop an iOS version.
9. Why do you need my feedback?
Your feedback is important to us. It helps us improve Actograph.Dep’s algorithm, thereby helping you and others.
10. Can I work with Actograph.Dep App without registering a “Trust Buddy”?
Registering a “Trust buddy” is imperative for Actograph.Dep. The “Trust Buddy” will be the one who receives a notification if a significant change from normal patterns occurs.
11. How do I change my profile from “Patient” to “Trust Buddy” or “Caregiver”?
In order to change your profile, you need to delete the Actograph.Dep app from your smartphone, re-download it, and define a new profile in the register form.
12. How do I change my “Trust Buddy”?
In order to change your “Trust Buddy”, you need to define a new “Trust Buddy” in the register form. Your former “Trust Buddy” will be replaced and notified only after the new “Trust Buddy” will accept your request.
13. How do I disconnect from the Actograph.Dep app?
You may disconnect at any time by deleting the app from your smartphone.
